Our 88th Summer Season is quickly approaching as we “Contend for the Faith!” which is our theme from Jude 1:3. With the pressures and complexities of our current cultural moment pressing in, Maranatha is laser focused on our mission of providing spiritual renewal in this glorious place, focusing on Bible teaching and worldwide missions. The Summer Season is the backbone of our ministry, and we need it to be outstanding in 2024!
While God continues to grow and prosper our ministry to His church, we cannot deliver our commitments to our guests, missionaries, and the community without your faithful support! Our program of concerts, speakers, and sports camps serve a wide variety of age groups and constituencies where we boldly preach the Gospel and bring people the joy of renewal in the Lord. We know we ask much of you, especially as we begin the campaign to expand our campus. Still, we hope you will consider sponsoring our summer program, which is our single biggest programming expense of the year. So, how can you get involved? I’m glad you asked!
- Sports Camps—We price the sports camps well below our costs to allow our local community kids to participate. Many, if not most, of the kids who attend locally are unchurched and living in difficult circumstances. We have seen HUNDREDS of kids come to faith in Christ through hearing the Gospel at these camps. Our cost per camp is about $6,200. Any support to help offset this cost pays huge dividends for time and eternity.
- Weekly Speakers – Honorariums, travel, food, and lodging costs for speakers, missionaries, and their families cost us about $7,000 per programming week. We can craft sponsoring a single speaker, a full week, or any part of a given week’s programming, and any amount of sponsorship is appreciated. We will recognize your company or family during the week and provide time to connect with the speakers.
- Concerts—Our most visible and popular sponsorship opportunity, the free weekly Maranatha concerts, have been a mainstay of our weekly programming for decades. Each artist concert costs $5-10K, with available sponsoring opportunities detailed at the end of this communication. If you sponsor (or co-sponsor), you receive recognition in all the promotional activities at the event, as well as special reserved seating and dinner for eight guests ahead of the concert.
