A Slice of Heaven on Earth!

Seeing God’s glory in a stunning Lake Michigan sunset, praying in the prayer tower looking out on the lake, and walking miles of scenic trails are only a few of the things you can see and do at Maranatha during your vacation or retreat. Maranatha boasts of 88 acres of recreation that includes an amazing adventure area, access to kayaks, paddleboards, tennis and pickleball, mini golf and so much more! Here are just some of the fun things that await you…there is something here for everybody!

Ropes Course

Our new ropes course in our adventure area will take you high up in the trees where you will make your way across a labyrinthine course that will challenge and thrill! Of course, safety is paramount with all the gear and support you will need to keep you upright and on-course!

Mini Golf

The mini golf course was designed and built by a local Maranatha resident who cares for it like a personal garden. There are all sorts of fun challenges to drop the ball in the hole. This is fun the whole family can enjoy.

Tennis and Pickleball

Maranatha has a vibrant pickleball community with frequent games and tournaments! And if you love tennis, we have lighted courts with crisp nets. Racquets and balls are available when the equipment hut is staffed.

Climbing Wall

The climbing wall is a mainstay of our adventure area where you harness up and use all your strength and dexterity to ascend the wall. The higher you go, the more challenging things get! This is equipped with safety harnesses and is only open when fully staffed!

Zip Line

Also in the adventure area, the Zip Line takes you racing down the high dunes after you climb WAY up a tower to the launch pad. This is another attraction that is only open when staffed and all safety equipment is present!

Axe Throwing

New in 2023, the Axe Throwing range will blend skill and strength to hit the target and score against your competitors. Again, safety is paramount and this attraction is only open when staffed and all safety protocols are being followed.

Pure-M Café Coffee Shop

Another new addition for 2023, our new coffee shop is located in the main lodge lobby and serves a variety of high-end coffee and espresso drinks, sourced for a top local coffee roaster, Morningstar Coffees. We also have other goodies and grab-and-go items! Hours vary, so check with the front desk!

Sweet Shoppe

The Sweet Shoppe is a Maranatha institution known for its towering soft ice cream cones, Hudsonville Ice Cream, shakes, sundaes, and full menu of all kinds of great grilled food. Our Sweet Shoppe lunches during the week include themed buffets and salad bar. We also have our famous hotdog wagon all summer long out on the main Lodge patio area for lunches!
