DESCRIPTION:Dr. Michael Rydelnik is Emeritus Academic Dean/Professor of Jewish Studies and Bible at Moody Bible Institute. He is also the Host/Bible Teacher on Open Line with Dr. Michael Rydelnik\, answering listener Bible questions on 300 stations nationwide across Moody Radio. The son of Holocaust survivors\, he was raised in an observant Jewish home in Brooklyn\, New York. DESCRIPTION:Dr. Cisco Cotto is a professor of Pastoral Studies at Moody Bible Institute. He served as a pastor at churches in Oak Park\, IL and Naperville\, IL for more than a decade before joining Moody. He also serves as the morning host on WBBM Newsradio in Chicago. Cisco is a graduate of Moody Theological Seminary and Talbot School of Theology. He and his wife Anna have been married for more than 20 years. They’ve spent summers at Maranatha along with their three children for many years. \n\nMission of the week: \n \nMoody Bible Institute \nMoody exists to equip people with the truth of God’s Word to be maturing followers of Christ who are making disciples around the world.

DESCRIPTION:Steve DeWitt has served as Senior Pastor of Bethel Church in northwest Indiana since 1997. His primary responsibilities include preaching\, shepherding the congregation\, leading the staff\, and providing overall vision for the church. Steve is passionate about expository preaching\, the doctrines of grace\, cultural engagement\, and the beauty of God. He also speaks frequently outside of Bethel\, serves on the council of The Gospel Coalition\, and sits on the board of Global Action\, which provides theological training for church leaders worldwide. \nSteve’s teaching ministry\, The Journey\, airs on stations nationwide\, including the Moody and Bott Radio Networks. He is the author of Eyes Wide Open\, Enjoying God in Everything\, and Loneliness: Don’t Hate It or Waste It. Redeem It. \nHe holds degrees from Cornerstone Seminary (MTS) and Wheaton College (DMin). Steve enjoys reading\, travel\, sports\, and cheering for the University of Iowa. DESCRIPTION:Rod VanSolkema is the founding and senior pastor of Crossroads Bible Church in Grand Rapids\, Michigan\, and the founder of Ancient Path Study Tours. He is deeply committed to the local church and its mission\, and is passionate about helping people encounter Scripture in its historical and cultural setting. Rod’s desire is that by studying the biblical story in community and understanding its context\, people will grow in their love for the text and gain a deeper vision for discipleship. \nRod leads study trips to Israel as well as tours through Turkey\, Greece\, and Rome. He holds an undergraduate degree from Wheaton College (Wheaton\, Illinois) and completed his seminary training at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (Deerfield\, Illinois). SUMMARY:Phil Tuttle - Week Six
DESCRIPTION:Phil Tuttle has served with Walk Thru the Bible for more than three decades and has been its President and CEO since 2007. He began teaching Walk Thru the Bible live events in 1988 while pastoring in central Illinois and went on to serve as Dean of Faculty\, Senior Vice President for International Ministries\, and Global Teaching Pastor. \nA native of Normal\, Illinois\, Phil earned his Bachelor of Arts in Christian Education and Bible from Wheaton College and his Master of Theology in Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary. \nAs President\, Phil continues to teach around the world in churches\, conferences\, and leadership gatherings. He is the author of several books\, including Detour\, Chosen\, Crucible\, Chiseled\, and Rescue. Known for combining biblical clarity with practical stories and warm humor\, Phil helps people engage Scripture in fresh and memorable ways. \nPhil and his wife\, Ellen\, have two adult children and four grandchildren. \nMission of the week: \n \nMission Eurasia \nMission Eurasia’s mission is to train\, equip\, and mobilize Christian leadership throughout Eurasia and Israel\, who will engage in indigenous evangelism\, church-planting\, holistic ministries\, and church growth by developing creative and strategic ministries and by facilitating partnerships between nationals and Western Christians. \n
